Boice Cope Park on the shores of Floras Lake with Floras Lake Windsports windsurfing school is my favorite camping spot I’ve been to on the Oregon Coast. Actually, it’s my favorite out of all the campgrounds I’ve stayed at in the U.S. and I am super stoked to get to share it with you! Video
Tucked away a few miles off of Highway 101 in Langlois, OR on the southern Oregon coast, Boice Cope is a small county campground with 47 sites (22 RV sites) set around a large grassy area with tall Sitka spruces lining one side and lake views on the other. The campground fills up quickly so this post is to share with you the Free Overnight RV Parking area that is just outside the entrance of the campground.
Boat launch and small day use area
The day use area at the lake is situated below the campground and is not really suited for RVs. Parking is tight, with little space to turn around. There’s a small boat launch area and a footbridge that leads to a short path along the lake ending at the Pacific Ocean.
That’s right, you get a gorgeous lake AND a beautiful, secluded Pacifc Ocean beach for your enjoyment. See why I love this area? 🙂 Watch the video below to take a short walk with me and check it out!

This space on a rural road just outside the entrance to the park and day use area is quiet at night and any rig can fit along the roadside.
Cell coverage on the road outside the park is excellent
The park does have WiFi and decent cell service near the laundry area. On the perimeter of the campground most of the sites do not have coverage. If you park overnight outside on the road there is good service.
